Meet Our Founders
Kamran Ghanbari
Adelaide-based migration specialist with decades of experience helping ethnic-background Australians navigate visa applications, AAT appeals, judicial reviews, and complex citizenship cases.
Kamran is a Juris Doctor and Barrister and Solicitor admitted to the Law Society of South Australia. He brings deep experience across migration, family, and civil practice, and personal insight into the migrant journey.
Kamran speaks English and Persian (Farsi) fluently. His own migration journey gives him a unique perspective on the challenges his clients face, and a reputation in the Persian-speaking community for plain-language advice and steady, methodical advocacy.
His academic grounding in Migration Law, International Law, and Politics — combined with hands-on practice — equips EthnicLegal to handle the most complex immigration matters facing clients from Iran, Afghanistan, and the broader Middle East.
Sydney Founding Partner
Ehsan Jahanandish
Sydney-based founding partner. Ehsan handles migration, criminal, and family matters from EthnicLegal’s Pyrmont office, with a focus on visa appeals, complex citizenship cases, and Persian-speaking clients across NSW.
Ehsan Jahanandish holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Technology Sydney and a Graduate Certificate in Australian Migration Law and Practice from the Australian National University. He is a Registered Migration Agent and admitted Solicitor in NSW.
Ehsan speaks English and Persian (Farsi) fluently and is a qualified translator and interpreter. He is known for taking calls late, explaining options without legal jargon, and treating every client matter as personal.
His specialties include business and innovation visas, skilled migration, AAT appeals and judicial reviews, partner and prospective marriage visas, and complex citizenship matters. Bilingual representation in NSW courts and tribunals.
